Simple DIY Teething Biscuits

Teething aids for babies can seriously be expensive.  Food ones can be not only expensive, but have a bunch of random garbage babies don’t need.  So I found a recipe and modified it to fit what we already had @ home.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Cups Brown Rice
  • 1.5 Cups Unbleached flour
  • 2 Tbs. Coconut Oil
  • 6 Frozen Banana Cubs (We blend our bananas & put them in ice cube trays.  One because they won’t go bad & Two so we know how many ounce of banas zoie is going to eat)
  • 2 Tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup water

Steps

  1. Grind your brown rice down to powder.  I use our smoothie maker, from our ninja blender, I’d recommend one.
  2. Then mix in flour & cinnamon
  3. Next water
  4. Followed by the bananas & oil
  5. Use a rolling pin to flatten to about 1/4 inch
  6. Either use a cookie cutter, or use a pizza cutter to make 2 inch by 4 inch sticks
  7. Place in the oven on 350 for no longer than 10 minutes, or the tips burn
  8. Remove from the oven
  9. Let cool, when cool place in tupperware or freezer bag and place in the freezer
  10. Give to baby when needed
