Shortness of Breath
Shortness of breath is just something that happens with pregnancy. Your organs need somewhere to go & they start squishing your lungs and then you have a baby kicking them. For the past couple days I’ve been becoming more short of breath, just sitting I can’t breath. Yesterday it started getting worse. It felt like someone was sitting on my chest and I was just sitting on a chair. I ended up just sitting most of the day because just moving I felt like I was getting really winded.
While sleeping last night I woke up I couldn’t breath, it was like someone had punched me in the chest and all the wind was knocked out of me. When reading pregnancy articles it said that you’d become short of breath and while sleeping make sure that you sleep upright. Which I do anyway since I have really bad heartburn at night.
Then I woke up today & I felt so lightheaded and I couldn’t breath. I tried to sit up and it was like all the air was sucked out of my body. I made it to the bathroom, just to make sure I took my temperature, I feel fine, I didn’t feel like I had a fever or that I was to cold, but just to be on the safe side. I had a temperature of 96 F, which isn’t to bad, you shouldn’t worry until you get to a temperature of 95.
So I have shortness of breath, lightheadedness and a low temperature. My plan for the day is to take it really easy, sitting in the rocker or laying in bed, nothing crazy. My hope is it is just a phase and I’ll be fine tomorrow. I do have a doctors appointment with Dr. Tanner, so I’ll make sure to bring it up with him and make sure everything is okay. Last time I let something go I ended up with an angry kidney, so I’ll make sure to bring this up.
But until tomorrow lots of fluid, rest and continuing to check my temperature. Thankfully I have enough projects to keep me busy today on the computer.
